Characters are any people or things that are given human abilities like talking that are in a story.

What is an action?

An action is anything that a character in a story does.

What impacts a character's action?

A character's actions are influenced by:

• The place they are at

• The choices other character make

• Their culture

Ways to tell how actions impact a story:

When a character has a decision to make then their actions will impact the story.

Once you can see what a character has done, look to see what happens in a story because of their decision.
