Use mnemonic (nuh·maa·nik) devices!

Like a rhyme, picture, or other word association.

In Japanese, to remember the days of the week I use the sailor scouts because it is the same order in Italian.

Monday - lunedi (sailor moon) - moon power

Tuesday - martedi (sailor mars) - fire power

wednesday - mercoledi (sailor mercury) - water

thursday - giovedi (sailor jupiter) - rose/wood/thunder

friday - venerdi (sailor venus) - gold/love
