25. 1st Grade SRR: Run, Hens, Run!

“Six fat hens in a pen,” said Fox.

“Yum! Yum!

I will get a big fat hen.”

Fox hops in the pen. Look out, hens! Run, hens! Run!

Zip, zip, zip! Not every hen ran. Every hen ran but Red Hen.

Fox runs at Red Hen. “Yum, yum!” yips Fox. “I will get Red Hen!”

“Fox,” said Red Hen. “Have you met Rex yet? Rex is our big dog.”

Rex ran at Fox. Fox hid in his den. “I quit!” yaps Fox.
