47. 1st Grade SRR: Up Hills

Beth and Stan will walk up in big hills with Dad. They pack bags before they go. Dad packs a bag as well.

Stan runs up the hill. “Look!” yells Stan. “Look at how big it is!” “Hush,” Beth tells him. “Don’t yell, Stan. It will run.”

Beth hops up on logs. Dad spots ducks. Stan picks up rocks and stacks them. It is fun on this hill in the sun.

Dad, Beth, and Stan walk up a big hill. Then Stan stops. “I can not go on,” Stan sobs as he rubs his legs. “It is too much!”.

Dad stops and sits on a rock. “This is a good spot for snacks,” Dad tells them. Beth sits with Stan. “Wash up, Stan,” Beth tells him.

Stan got his pep back after his snack. Beth ran down the big hill with him. “This is fun!” yells Stan. “It is fun on this hill in the sun!”
