Let’s get set up.

Enter the following class code to join the training classroom

Click the sign up link on the stream page or click here

Make sure you click “Continue with Google” using your college email address otherwise this
will not work correctly

Click “I am a teacher” and let it know what level you teach and what you teach. If it doesn’t
have those options, click the closest thing!

Creating an Assessment
in Quizizz

Most things you need Quizizz
for can be navigated to via the
sidebar.

There’s not enough time to go
through it all (and it’s always
better to explore these things
yourself) so we’ll focus on the
create button. This gives you
two options- Lesson and Quiz.

Let’s focus on Quiz.

You can find pre made quizzes
at the top. You may find though
it’s easier just to make your
own.

Select any option you like from
the quiz type. You can change
each question asked to a
different type but this just sets
the default.

I like multiple choice- it’s the
OG option and most similar to
Kahoot.

What uses for these digital assessment tools can you think of for your area?

Revision made easier

After students play a Quiz, they can revisit it any time from their front page by going to
“Completed”.

It is a great idea to do the same quiz over multiple weeks and watch them improve!

Show don’t tell

Create your own Quizizz and host it!

Pair up- you'll need a computer each for this task

Log in to Quizizz and create a 5 question Quizizz on any subject you like.

Do not use any question types from the super program- they won't work (yet)

Host it for your partner, who'll log in to the quiz from their own machine.
