Using a quizziz basic account, there is no option to make lessons and quizzes private. This means that there are many resources available for various subjects. These can be copied and edited as required.

It is also possible to organise your library by saving lessons and quizzes into a collection. This allows you to easily group materials for one course together and make them easier to locate.

There are a number of question types which are available on a free basic account. These include:

• multiple choice

• fill in the blank

• open-ended

• draw

Super accounts allow for a wider variety of question types such as math responses, reorder, drop down, graphing and match-up. A super account also allows pupils to record video and audio responses. Super question types are identified with a lightning bolt icon.

​Question types

• Live quiz - This allows pupils to complete a quiz at their own pace. This option also allows for the completion of a quiz as a team.

• Instructor pace - This allows you to dictate the pace at which pupils can complete the lesson/quiz. You can choose to enable features such as leaderboard, name factory question timer and shuffle answers.

• Homework - Allows you to set a quiz to be completed by pupils working individually. You can enable a full redemption quiz or just a few questions in this mode to allow pupils to try again.

​Quiz settings

Once a quiz or lesson has been completed, Quizziz automatically generates a report which can be downloaded as an excel spreadsheet or viewed on the website.

​Reports

The excel spreadsheet provides and overview, participant data, time data and quiz details. Of these, the overview and participant details to be the most useful. The overview allows you to see which questions young people performed well in and which they found challenging.

The participant data allows the user to view a breakdown of each young person's performance. This can help to inform target setting if areas needing work can be idenitified.
