My (mái)

• Para indicar que algo pertenece a uno mismo

  (con la primera persona del singular):

  Ex. That’s my phone. – Ese es mi teléfono.

• Para expresar afecto: durante una conversación

  o por escrito, my puede utilizarse delante de un nombre para expresar afecto:

  Ex.My sweetheart.. – Mi amor…

• Para expresar sorpresa: puedes usar expresiones como:

  Ex.My God! – ¡Dios mio!

• Para la tercera persona del singular. Indica que algo pertenece a una persona de género masculino.

  Ex. This is his house – Esta es su casa (de él).

Para la tercera persona del singular. Indica que algo pertenece a una persona de género femenino.
