Present perfect simple

The structure for these tense is:
auxiliar + have/has + verb in past participle + complemento

The present perfect conncets the past andthe present, is used to show that action or situation in the past.

Some examples...

An example with a regular verb is:
I have just bought a new car.

An example with an irregular verb is:
He has thrown the ball.

Time Words

Ue the present perfect with these words: ever, never, for, since, lately, recently, far.

Also we use present perfect to talk about an imprecise time in the past, but as soon as it becomes precise, we use simple past.

The structure for this tense is:
auxiliar + have/has been + verb in ing + complement

These tense talks about actions that have iniciated in the past but have not finished yet, the enfasis isin the process, not in the result.

An example with an irregular verb is:
She has been reading that book for a month.

Perfect Progressive
Pablo has been living in Mexico for 10 years



Pablo has been living in the country for 10 years but he stills there.
