Book Nine - The Cyclops Cave

Remember: the first poem, "The Iliad," was written about the Greek and Trojan War that lasted nearly ten years. That war was won by the Greeks after a trick play (the Trojan Horse) orchestrated by Odysseus.

This poem, is about Odysseus' journey (along with his men) returning home to "Ithaka."
