GUSTAR WITH NOUNS

To talk about the things that people like, Use gustar + nouns.

When you want to really emphasize or identify the person that you are talking
about, add a + noun/pronoun

A mi me gusta el cereal I like cereal
A ti te gusta el pan you like bread
A él, ella, ud. le gusta la sopa he/she likes soup; you like soup
A nosotros (as) nos gusta la limonada we like lemonade
A vosotros os gusta la leche you all like milk
A ellos, ellas, Uds. les gusta el café they like coffee ; you all like coffee

If what is liked is singular, use the singular form of gusta.

Me gusta el cereal I like cereal
Te gusta el pan you like bread
Le gusta la sopa he, she likes soup; you like soup

Remember there are three infinitives in Spanish: AR, ER, IR
Use gustar to talk about what people like to do.

Use phrases like me gusta + infinitive

Me gusta dibujar I like to draw

Te gusta cantar you (familiar singular) like to sing

Le gusta correr you (formal singular) like to run
He/She likes to run

Nos gusta compartir We like to share

Os gusta comer You (familiar plural) like to eat

Les gusta escribir You (plural) like to write
They like to write

Doler: (o-ue) to cause pain
Importar: To be important.
Molestar: to annoy
Faltar: to be lacking/non existent
Caer bien/mal: to be agreeable/disagreeable
