FARM BUILDINGS
This is a building on a farm that has roof and walls that can stand more or less permanently in one place. It is more detailed and more refined which may be used for more than one purpose. Examples of farm buildings includes offices, animal or livestock houses, nursery shed, storage shed, garage, security post, stores, living quarters, processing house, abattoirs, storage tank etc.

TYPES OF FARM BUILDING
A. Temporary buildings: - These are simple buildings constructed from cheap improvised or locally materials on the farm. The materials used are not expensive. They can be easily got within the environment. Materials like bamboo or sorghum stacks, wood, palm fronds, coconut or raffia palm, thatch, leaves, spear grass, mud. Examples of temporary building are construction shed, garage, storage shed, nursery sheds and animal pens.

B. Permanent buildings: - These are solid buildings constructed from more durable and expensive materials to last for a very long time. The materials used are concrete, iron rod, bricks, corrugated iron sheets, cement, sand stones, gravel, aluminium or asbestos. Examples of permanent buildings are living quarters, stores, livestock house, offices, generator house, security post, milking house, water storage tank, abattoir and workshop.
