LIKE ALL THE SERVICES IN WINDOWS,
YOUR WEB BROWSER, YOUR IMAGE
EDITING TOOL, OR THE GAME YOU’RE
PLAYING. IT IS VOLATILE, MEANING IT
HOLDS DATA ONLY WHEN THE POWER
IS ON. WHEN THE POWER IS OFF,
RAM'S CONTENTS ARE LOST.
