​Comparative adverbs

- Hầu hết các trạng từ (thường nhiều hơn hai âm tiết), chúng ta hình thành dạng so sánh hơn bằng cách thêm “more”: S + V + more + trạng từ dài

Ví dụ: slowly (chậm) -> more slowly (chậm hơn)    carefully (cẩn thận) -> more carefully (cẩn thận hơn)

- Với những trạng từ có hình thức giống như tính từ như fast (nhanh), hard (khó/ chăm chỉ/ vất vả), soon (sớm),… chúng ta hình thành dạng so sánh bằng cách thêm -ER: S + V + trạng từ ngắn - ER

Ví dụ: fast (nhanh) -> faster (nhanh hơn)

           hard (chăm chỉ/ khó/ vất vả) -> harder (chăm chỉ/ khó/ vất vả hơn)

- Một số trạng từ bất quy tắc:

well (tốt) -> better (tốt hơn)                badly (kém) -> worse (kém hơn)
