² And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.


-IT HATES THE PEOPLE OF GOD
John 17:14-16 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS WORLD?

IT CAN BEFRIEND YOU AND MAKE YOU AN ENEMY OF GOD
James 4:4 You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

Summary:

The " Righteous Individual with a "righteous mind" , needs to bear in mind that they are :
-hated by the world,
-the world will force you to conform ( adhere to their policies nd lifestyles/patterns

-the world will make things so attractive/appealing that you want to be their friend and in turn make you an enemy of God

What does the " Righteous Mind " look like?

DECLARATION:

I am the " righteous" and all of me is righteous
I will not offer any part of myself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer myself to God because I've been brought from death to life;
I have a righteous mind this means..
I have the mind of Christ
I walk in a transformed mind, hence I am not conformed to the ways of this world

DECLARATION:

I will not allow the world to befriend me and make me an enemy of God
I am the Righteous and my thoughts are right
I think on things that are true, things that are honest, things that are just, pure, lovely and of a good report. I think on heavenly things
