Athens
Athenian people were way more calm than the Spartans. Athenian boys were able to go to school at the age of 7 to study music,debating,writing,reading, and math. Men had a variety of occupations, and were able to vote/debate on how to handle city-states. Athenian woman/girls did not go to school, but they were homeschooled to learn how to take care of a house. Men did not let the women go outside often, that's why they spend most of their days inside.Both genders followed the beliefs of many gods (or goddesses). They both respected Athena god of wisdom,war,and civilization.

Sparta was one of the 2 powerful city-states. Every single male were to be trained to be strong powerful warriors. They were strict on the boys because they needed to be prepared, and strong. At the age of 20 they were required to join the army. The girls were able to go to school, and expected to exercise and be fit so they raise good strong leaders. Women were to marry and have lots of warrior sons.
