​Scatter plot

Definition: a graph in which the values of two variables are plotted along two axes, the patter of the resulting points revealing the correlation present.

Definition: A straight line that minimizes distance between it and some data

​outlier
Definition: the extreme point in data set that is either much larger or much smaller than all the other values

Definition: a gathering or grouping of objects in a certain location

Definition: A relationship between two variables that tend to move in the same direction

Definition: it when there is zero if there is no relationship

Definition: data on each of the two variables, where each value of one of the variables is paired with a value of the other variable

Definition: the point where the line intersects the y-axis
