Ferdinand Magellan and his crew went through many different places during their exploration. They faced big oceans with rough seas and extreme weathers. Beside the sea, they also faced rocky cliffs. In the Strait of Magellan, there were tall mountains and dangerous forests to navigate. Crossing the huge Pacific Ocean was tough with bad conditions.
