What is the subject of your sentence?

First Person or Third Person

If you are writing the sentence with you doing the action, then you are the first person. You will be the subject of the sentence so call yourself "I".
If you are describing the action of a person WHO IS NOT IN THE CONVERSATION, then you are writing for a third person. Call this person "he" or "she".
