What are pronouns?

For example:

Here, she and he replace the noun "person."

Pronoun Antecedents

The antecedent is the noun a pronoun refers to in a sentence.

For example:
The basketball team won the game.
They celebrated with sweets and chocolates.

Here, "they" refers to the basketball team.
