What are they?
Possessive adjectives are words used to show possession - always next to a singular or plural noun.
The possessive adjective that we use depends on the possessor, NOT the possession.

For example:
Its --> possession of it*
Our --> possession of we*
Their --> possession of they*
My --> possession of I
Your --> possession of you
His --> possession of he*
Her --> possession of she*
*Or its equivalent. For example, his shows possession of one man too.
