  • Renaming your classes can also help to keep you organized.

    • You can do this by clicking on the three dots and clicking Class setting from the My classes page.

    • You can also do this from within the class by clicking on the Gear icon.

  • To keep the number of classes manageable on your My Classes page, you have the option to hide or delete unused classes. 

  • If classes have been added to Lightspeed Classroom Management by your school roster and you want to remove a class from the My Classes page, look for the ellipsis menu in the upper right side of the class tile, and click Hide class. Because these classes are part of your school's roster they can not be deleted.

Things of note for Elementary Teachers

  • Elementary teachers have a Bell schedule set that goes from 7:40AM-2:25PM.

    • If you experience issues with your classes all showing Offline try setting your schedule through Custom. Make sure the hours are within the same window as the Bell schedule.

Things of note for Secondary Teachers

  • ​It is imperative that you set up your schedule to align with the class period times.

    • If your times are just set to all day your web rules could interfere with another teacher and students throughout the day.

    • Click + Add Schedule if you see the same class at different times throughout the week.

Our screen is slightly different than the video. You will need to click on the list from the Allow lists if you want to change it.

Once you create your list you will have to toggle that list on and hit Apply Allow or Block Changes.

It is not enough to just make the list it must be toggled on and saved.

  • Double check the website is the same for the students. The teacher site sometimes has a different URL.

  • docs.google.com covers all docs, slides, and spreadsheets but NOT Google classroom.
