INTRO

In environmental ethics, environmental conservation is carried out in order to create a balance between the development of human civilization and environmental maintenance. This effort is carried out by conserving, processing and recycling waste, as well as using hazardous chemicals according to the dosage and designation

media

23

INTRO

Conservation is an effort to protect, manage and renew natural resources. Some examples of environmental conservation include:

a. Conservation of biological natural resources: protection of animal living areas through national parks.

b. Soil conservation: reforestation, creation of swales, and crop rotation.

c. Forest conservation: forest logging regulations.

d. Water conservation: creation of reservoirs.

e. Energy conservation: utilization of alternative energy sources.

Overcome environmental issues

So far, human activities have caused a lot of environmental damage and pollution. Even ecologists predict that we will cause more and more irreparable environmental damage and pollution. Basically, there are three ways that humans can do to prevent and overcome pollution and to preserve the environment, namely administratively, technologically, and educationally.

media

25

Administrative countermeasures

Administrative control of environmental pollution is the government's task, namely by making regulations or laws.
Let's check this video:

26

Technologies

Tackling environmental pollution technologically, for example using equipment to process rubbish or waste. In Surabaya there is a final incineration place for waste with a very high temperature so that it does not emit smoke.

media

27

education

Educational prevention of pollution is carried out through both formal and non-formal education channels. Through formal education, at school environmental knowledge is included in related subjects, for example science and religious education. Through environmental conservation and prevention and control of environmental pollution.
