Human Characteristics are defined as objects, structures, physical features that were made by humans. Examples include: buildings, bridges, highway systems, and electrial grids just to name a few. Some human characteristics are unique to certain enviornments and regions of Texas. For example, the Great Plains regions of Texas features a large amount of wind turbines for wind energy.

Physical Characteristics are defined as natural features from the earth. Examples include: mountains, rivers, escarpments, and barrier islands just to name a few. Some physical characteristics are unique to certain enviornments and regions of Texas. In Texas, we have many unique physical landforms which makes our state one of only two states to have 4 natural regions.
