Logging In

Access the Skyward Portal

Use Clever to navigate to the Skyward website or app

to begin the login process.

Enter your credentials

Sign in using your Google account.

By following these steps, you can successfully log in to the Skyward Portal and

access your student information.

Once logged in, you will be directed to the Skyward home page. Here are the key

sections you will use.

Navigating the Home Page

• Dashboard

The dashboard provides a quick overview of your

student's information, including attendance,

assignments, and grades.

• Menu

The menu allows you to navigate to various sections of

Skyward, such as Attendance, Gradebook, and

Schedules.

• Announcements

The announcements section displays important updates

and information from your school or district.

• Assignments

The assignments section shows upcoming and past

assignments, allowing you to view details and track your

student's progress.

• Grades

The grades section displays your student's current and

historical grades, including assignment scores and

overall course performance.

Skyward Student Guide for Grades

Access Gradebook

Click on the Gradebook tab on the left-hand side

of the screen to display a list of your current

classes and grades.

View Detailed Grades

Click on the letter grade for a class to see

more details, including individual assignment

scores, percentages, and any comments from

your teacher.

Customize Grade Display

Use the Display Options button to choose how

your grades are shown, such as for the current

term only or all terms.

easily access, view, and customize your academic grades.

Checking Grades

Logging in to Skyward

Sign into Clever, find the Skyward icon, and use

your Google Account to log into the system.

Navigating to the Gradebook

Once logged in, locate the 'Gradebook' or

'Grades' section within the Skyward portal. This

is typically found in the main menu or

dashboard area.

Viewing Detailed Grades

In the Gradebook, you can view a detailed

breakdown of your grades for each class,

including assignment scores, missing work, and

overall class averages.

Take turns with your elbow partner. Talk through the steps

you are taking to access your grades.

• Log into Skyward

First, open a web browser and navigate to the Skyward

login page. Enter your username and password, then click

the 'Login' button.

• Navigate to Grades

Once you are logged in, locate the 'Grades' section on the

Skyward homepage. This may be in the form of a link or a

tab.

• View Your Grades

Click on the 'Grades' section to access your current grades.

Review the list of your classes and the corresponding

grades.

• Click on the Attendance tab on the left-hand

side of the screen.

• This will show all attendance marks for the

school year, broken down by date, period, and

class.

Understanding Attendance Codes

A: Absent Unexcused

E: Excused Absence

T: Tardy

L: Web Tardy (late to class)

W: Web Absence (marked by the teacher)
