What are linking words?
Linking words are words that are used to connect sentences/paragraphs.
They help make sentences easier to understand.
They can show us when things happen, why they happen, or how they are related to each other.
For example, words like "first," "next," and "then" show you the order of events, while words like "because" and "so" explain why something happened.
