A classic game mode where students answer at their own pace and you see a leaderboard with live results.

A gamified mode featuring repeated practice where students play at their own pace and teachers observe progress in real time.

A no-frills mode for serious assessment. Get notified when a student opens another browser window or tab. Students can check/modify their responses before submitting.

A game mode infused with healthy classroom competition. Individual students answer at their own pace, but scores are grouped by the collective team. Teachers can edit teams to fit class needs.

Students answer at their own pace, but earn points for their assigned group within the class
This features repeated practice where students play at their own pace as their avatars climb a mountain

Teacher projects questions on screen while students answer by holding up a card in a specific orientation

Be aware that Quizizz often references quizzes as "games" in the general sense to refer to quizzes, even those in Classic or Test Mode that are not necessarily "gamified"
You will access the "Game" Settings page on the upcoming slides. Some settings are self-explanatory, while others may need some explanation.
Settings are explained in 4 different groups:
