​หลักๆ แล้ว ข้อสอบพาร์ทนี้ไม่ได้วัดแกรมม่าจ๋าๆ แต่วัด "การสื่อสารในชีวิตจริง"

​1. แยกประเภทคำถามให้ออกทันที (Wh- vs. Yes/No)

สิ่งแรกที่ต้องทำเมื่อได้ยินหรืออ่านโจทย์คือ แยกโครงสร้างประโยคเพื่อตัดช้อยส์


Wh-Questions (Who, What, Where, When, Why, How):
เทคนิค: ห้ามตอบ Yes หรือ No เด็ดขาด

เช่น "Where are you going?" จะตอบ "Yes, I am going to..." ไม่ได้

จุดโกง: โฟกัสที่คำแรกให้ดี เช่น ถาม When ช้อยส์ต้องเป็น "เวลา/วัน",
ถาม Why ช้อยส์ต้องบอก "เหตุผล" (เพราะ, เพื่อที่จะ)

Yes/No Questions (ขึ้นต้นด้วย Verb ช่วย เช่น Is, Am, Are, Do, Does, Can, Will, Have):

เทคนิค: คำตอบมักจะขึ้นต้นด้วย Yes/No หรือคำที่แสดงการยอมรับ/ปฏิเสธ เช่น Sure, Definitely, Of course, I'm afraid not, Not really.

​2. สังเกต "Tense" และ "Subject" ให้ตรงกัน

เช็กให้ชัวร์ว่าคนในประโยคคำถามกับคนในประโยคคำตอบสอดคล้องกัน

รวมถึงช่วงเวลาด้วย ถ้าโจทย์ถามถึง "Yesterday" (อดีต) ช้อยส์ที่เป็น Present หรือ Future มักจะผิด

ถ้าโจทย์ถามถึง "John" (He) ช้อยส์ที่ตอบสรรพนามเป็น "She" หรือ "They" โดยไม่มีบริบทอื่นมารองรับก็ต้องตัดทิ้ง

เช็กให้ชัวร์ว่าคนในประโยคคำถามกับคนในประโยคคำตอบสอดคล้องกัน

​3. จำกลุ่มคำศัพท์ Functional English (สำนวนที่ใช้บ่อย) ข้อสอบ TGAT ชอบออกสำนวนที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันมากกว่าการแปลตรงตัวครับ โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มเหล่านี้:

​4. เทคนิค "ตัดช้อยส์" เมื่อแปลไม่ออก ถ้าเจอข้อที่กำกวมหรือแปลศัพท์บางคำไม่ออก ให้ใช้หลักการตัดช้อยส์ตามนี้:

ตัดช้อยส์ที่ "สุดโต่ง" เกินไป: ช้อยส์ที่ตอบแรงๆ มารยาทไม่ดี หรือเปลี่ยนเรื่องคุยไปเลย มักจะผิด (ข้อสอบ TGAT เน้นความสุภาพและเป็นเหตุเป็นผล)

ตัดช้อยส์ที่ทวนคำในโจทย์ตรงๆ แต่ความหมายเพี้ยน: มักเป็นช้อยส์หลอกที่สร้างขึ้นมาให้คนเดาทางผิด
