Starting Class
Entering the

Each day I will:
- maintain silence once I enter the classroom
- stow any belongings under my desk shelf to keep aisles clear

- remain seated unless I am given permission by Mr.
Cerillo to move around

- read the smart board for the daily class agenda and begin work on the Bellringer assignments silently and independently
- stay on task, do not distract others

Materials Needed for Class

- bring my sharpened pencil and eraser to class
- only use Bellringer time to sharpen my pencil, if required
- read the smart board upon entering the classroom and have materials I need for class ready at my desk. Most everything I need will be in the seat back pocket behind my chair.
- keep my workspace orderly and use the storage shelf

- keep my binder at my desk. Helpers will distribute and collect them.
- keep all papers used in class in my binder. You WILL need them.

- Participate. Raise my hand and be acknowledged before
speaking.
- pay attention and remain silent while others are speaking. Be
respectful!

Each day I will:
- come to attention (cease all conversation, with eyes back on Mr. Cerillo) whenever I hear the call (“Country Roads”) and respond “Take Me Home!”

- fill my water bottle before class or during Bellringer if absolutely necessary (ask permission first!)
- NOT ask Mr. Cerillo if I can use the bathroom before I have settled in and started my work.
- sign out using the form on Canvas
- use the bathroom during Bellringer only
