• It’s a COMBINATION of verb to be + a verb into –ING.

• Use it ONLY with ACTION/ DYNAMIC VERBS.

• NEVER use NON-ACTIONS/ STATE VERBS.

• now, right now
• today, tomorrow

• this moment, at the moment

• next week/weekend/month/year

WORD ORDER:

 + is/are/ am + v.ing + blah. (+)

 + isn’t / aren’t / ‘m not + v.ing + blah. (-)

Ex: I’mplaying tennis tomorrow.

He’sworking up to midnight.
