•  Present Continuous Tense şu anda yapılmakta olan işleri anlatır, o iş başlamış ve henüz bitmemiştir.

• The child is sleeping, so please be quiet.

  Çocuk uyuyor, bu yüzden lütfen sessiz olun.

• It is raining at the moment.

  Şu anda yağmur yağıyor.

Present Continuous Tense İng Takısı Kuralları ve Kullanımı

NOT: Ana fiile eklenen ‘-ing’ farklı şekillerde kullanılmaktadır.

Fiilin sonunda sessiz harften sonra ‘e’ harfi varsa ‘-ing’ eki getirildiğinde e harfi düşer.

make – making Take – taking

Fiilin sonunda sesli harften sonra sessiz harf varsa ‘-ing’ eki getirilirken sondaki sessiz harf çift yazılır.

swim – swimming Run – running

Diğer fiillerde ‘ing’ eklendiğinde bir değişiklik olmaz.
