Without place values, numbers would be worth

NOTHING! Sometimes when we talk about place

values, especially DECIMALS, students get nervous.

BUT HAVE NO FEAR we are taking it slow and

going back to the basics.

Who has ever heard of ROUNDING NUMBERS?

- Close your computer
- Take out a pencil
- Each group will receive a set of dice to play!

HERE WE GO!

Together we will fill in each blank with a number. THE ENTIRE CLASS SHOULD
HAVE THE SAME NUMBERS! We will do the first 2 together. The next 3 are
completed with your group members. Be sure to write your name at the top of the
page!
