Stay Engaged - We all have ups and downs in our lives. These ups and downs can happen multiple times in a day even. What I ask that we all agree to in this class is that we give 100% of whatever we are capable of that day, even if you only feel 10%, give 100% of that 10%.

Experience Discomfort - I don’t mean “experience discomfort” to mean that my goal is to make students uncomfortable or unwelcome. The goal is really to lean into discomfort. You will be asked to learn how to do new things, learn new skills and we will ALL have times that we will make mistakes. Part of our class culture is that it is okay to make mistakes. We can grow confidence in ourselves when we lean into things that make us uncomfortable.
