Task 1

Task 1: Basic Data Entry and Formatting

Objective: To practice entering data into cells and using basic formatting options.

Data Entry:

• Open a new Excel workbook.

• In the first sheet, create a table with the following headers in Row 1: "Name," "Age," "Grade," "Favorite Subject."

• Enter data for 5 students under these headers. For example:

  • Name: Alex, Jamie, Taylor, Casey, Jordan

  • Age: 11, 12, 11, 12, 11

  • Grade: 6, 6, 6, 6, 6

  • Favorite Subject: Math, Science, English, History, Art

Formatting:

• Bold the headers.

• Adjust the column widths so all the data fits properly.

• Apply a border to the table.
