Form

The form of a piece of music is determined by its pattern or even a lack of a pattern.

Music is divided into unique sections called themes. The way themes are arranged in the piece of music determines its pattern.

Just like art, music has patterns and forms!

Research has shown listening to music helps people both work out for longer and train more efficiently. In one study, participants who cycled in time to music found that they required 7 percent less oxygen to none and could work out several minutes longer at an intense speed.

Fun Fact of the Day:

9
