  • Culture shift also in terms of religion; Catholics went from

    Most people that immigrated would stay close to others who were from the same place originally, creating their own places where they spoke native languages, rebuild their churches, synagogues, clubs, ect from their homeland.

After the Civil War many people from China came over, mid 1800s China suffered:

Japanese immigrants came over too but once they started to industrialize and have hardships on the economy people stayed more
