​There is & There Are

We use "There is" to talk about one thing that is present (singular) and "There are" to talk about multiple things that are present (plural). They both mean: "Hay"

We use them to say that something is not present, we use "There isn’t" (for singular nouns) and "There aren’t" (for plural nouns).
