What we are going to show in this slide
We will show about 3 chapter, which is the discovery of basic unit of life, the structure of the basic unit of life and the function of it.To attract students, this slide will have questions and some interesting fact to make this lesson become more fun and interactive. Now,let's start.

Chapter 1:Cell theory
The first time human discovered the basic unit of live
3
With continual improvements made to microscopes over time, magnification technology became advanced enough to discover cells. This discovery is largely attributed to Robert Hooke, and began the scientific study of cells. One observation from Robert Hokke was from very thin slices of bottle cork. Hooke discovered a multitude of tiny pores that he named "cells".With this human start to develop cell theory and the deleloper is usually given to two scientists: Theodor Schwann and Matthais Jakob Schleiden which developed in 1839 and 1838 respectively. Moreover, the cell theorey mention 3 principles:Cells are the basic unit of life, all living things are made up of cells, and all cells come from other cells.

Chapter 2:The structure of cell
The sturcture of the most important item for life, cell structure
8
Cells provide the necessary structural support to an organism. The genetic information necessary for reproduction is present within the nucleus. Structurally, the cell has cell organelles which are suspended in the cytoplasm. Mitochondria is the organelle responsible for fulfilling the cell's energy requirements.
Such as animal cells. They are typical of the eukaryotic cell, enclosed by a plasma membrane and containing a membrane-bound nucleus and organelles. Unlike the eukaryotic cells of plants and fungi, animal cells do not have a cell wall. This feature was lost in the distant past by the single-celled organisms that gave rise to the kingdom Animalia. Most cells, both animal and plant, range in size between 1 and 100 micrometers and are thus visible only with the aid of a microscope.
9
Multiple Select
What are the structure of animal cells?
cell membrane
mitochondrion
large central vacuole
druse crystal
amyloplast
10
Fill in the Blanks
Label the number 1 with animal cells structure.
11
Fill in the Blanks
What is the type of animal cells are?
12
They are eukaryotic cells with a membrane-bound nucleus and organelles. They have all the structure of animal cells but more than that.
Cell wall
Made of cellulose.
Large central vacuole
Filled with a fluid called cell sac
Chloroplast
Bounded by a double membrane
Contain green pigment called chlorophyll
which made from magnesium.
13
Multiple Choice
Which structure are not bounded by a double membrane?
Chloroplast
nucleus
cell membrane
Mitochondrion
14
Multiple Select
Which of the following structure are plant cells have but animal cells do not?
cell wall
large central vacuole
nucleus
cell
15
Fill in the Blanks
Which inorganic ion make up chlorophyll
which is contained in chloroplast?
Type answer...
16
Chapter 3:Function of cell structure
The function of cell structure which cause the basic unit of life, cell to work
17
Cell membrane
~ Controls of the cell the movement of substances into and out
~Provides protection for a cell
Cytoplasm
~ Holds organelles
~ Provides a place for chemical reactions to take place
Nucleus
~ Controls all activities of the cell
~ Carries the genes, structures that contain the hereditary information
Smooth endoplasmic reticulum
~ Involved in the synthesis of lipids
Rough endoplasmic reticulum
~ Involved in the synthesis of protein
Mitochondrion
~ Generate most of the chemical energy needed to power the cell's biochemical reactions
Cell wall
~ Protects ,supports and gives shape to plant cells
Large central vacuole
~ A storage space for water and other molecules in the plant cells
Chloroplast
~ Produce energy through photosynthesis
Functions of each cell structure
18
Multiple Choice
Which of the following cell structure involved in the synthesis of lipids?
Rough endoplasmic reticulum
Mitochondrion
Smooth endoplasmic reticulum
Centrioles
19
Multiple Select
Which of the following statements about cell structure is/are incorrect?
Cell wall provides tensile strength and protection against mechanical and osmotic stress.
Chloroplast
produce energy through respiration.
The functions of smooth endoplasmic reticulum and rough endoplasmic reticulum are totally the same.
Cytoplasm acts as the host to metabolic processes.
