Ms. Azroui
2
Objectives
Evaluate peer websites based on established design and functionality criteria.
Provide constructive, specific, and actionable feedback using a structured template.
Reflect on feedback received and identify areas for improvement in your own work.
3
Open Ended
How would you feel if someone gave you feedback that helped you make your website the best it can be?
4
Giving Constructive Feedback
Be specific - Focus on particular elements. For example, the navigation bar, images, about us, services/products, color theme, typography/fonts, layout, structure, spelling and grammar, etc.
Balance strengths and recommendations - Use the compliment-recommend-compliment approach.
Stay respectful and positive - Use language that encourages rather than discourages.
5
Collaborative Task
Pair up with a friend to review each other's websites.
Distribute the peer feedback template. Use the template to evaluate your peer's website based on categories such as design, accessibility, functionality, content, and overall usability.
Conduct evaluations. Spend 10-15 minutes exploring your peer's website and completing the feedback template. Ask clarifying questions if needed.
Feedback exchange. Share the feedback with your peer in a 1-on-1 discussion, using the completed template as a guide. Ask clarifying questions if needed.
6
Reflection
Reflect on the feedback you received and write down:
One thing you are proud of in your website.
One specific improvement you plan to make based on the feedback.
Please complete the Google Form posted in GC. Submit the form as a pair/group.
