While some people might think of protests as a way to make a point, women in the early 1800s mostly focused on peaceful ways to ask for change. They believed in talkign and writing about their issues rather than using violence.
Not paying taxes as a form of protest wasn't a common action for women at that time. They were more focused on speaking out and writing letters.
While some women might have gone to court for specific issues, suing the government wasn't a big part of what women were doing in the early 1800s. They were still figuring out how to make their voices heard in the legal system.
