What is an act of resistance?

An act of resistance is an action (or inaction) done in an effort to challenge or oppose a person, group, or system, sometimes at great personal risk.

Peaceful acts of resistance can include boycotting, protesting, letter writing, campaigning, creating art, organizing, educating, and donating/delivering relief to those in need.
