Writing that formulates a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience in language chosen and arranged to create a specific emotional response through meaning, sound, and rhythm

In literature, "conflict" refers to a struggle or clash between opposing forces, usually between a protagonist and an external or internal obstacle, which drives the narrative forward and creates tension within a story; it's essentially the problem or challenge a character must overcome to achieve their goal
