We use adjectives

to describe the subject or noun.

We put adjective(s)

• after the 'to be' verb ( am / is / are ) e.g. The baby is cute.

• before a noun e.g. He is a good student,

We use adverbs

to describe the action verbs

He runs quickly.

He walks slowly.

We usually put adverbs after the action verbs.
