Why is it matter to learn capitalization?

When you capitalize words correctly, your meaning is clearer to readers. Let's say you're writing directions for friends to bike to your house. You write: Take main street to shady road, then turn on to my street. Your friends might think that shady road is a description, not a street name. They might see a street that has many leafy trees and think, "Ah! That must be the shady road from the directions," and take the wrong turn. Use capitals correctly; don't let your friends get lost!
