Why is it matter to learn capitalization?

​When you capitalize words correctly, your meaning is clearer to readers. Let's say you're writing directions for friends to bike to your house. You write: Take main street to shady road, then turn on to my street. Your friends might think that shady road is a description, not a street name. They might see a street that has many leafy trees and think, "Ah! That must be the shady road from the directions," and take the wrong turn. Use capitals correctly; don't let your friends get lost!
