The Mesoamerican Civilizations and Location
There were different regions in Mesoamerica with their own cultures. In the northwest, there were places like Colima, Guerrero, and Jalisco. In the central plateau, there were the Aztec, Mixtec, Teotihuacán, and Toltec cultures. In Oaxaca, there were the Chichimec, Mezcala, Mixtec, and Zapotec cultures. On the Gulf Coast, there were the Huastec, Olmec, and Totonac cultures. And in the Maya area, there were the countries of Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.
