Effects of the Cold War

The United States wanted to see other nations turn to​ (a)   and a ​ (b)   style of economy. The Soviet Union wanted to see​ (c)   and a more​ (d)   style of economy. The United States had influence over ​ (e)   Europe and the Soviet Union had influence over Eastern Europe.

The United States wanted to be sure​ (a)   didn't spread into other parts of the world. This idea of stopping the spread of communism was known as​ (b)   . We were not happy with communism anywhere, but maybe we could keep it just in ​ (c)   Europe.
