Independent Events

An Independent Event can be one of the following...

1. The events DO NOT affect each other (coin and dice)

2. The item is REPLACED (a marble is pulled from a bag and put back)

Dependent Events

A Dependent Event can be described in the following way...

• The events DO affect one another.

  • Choosing a student for a team.

• The item IS NOT replaced.

  • A marble is removed and not put back
