World War 1 broke out in August 1914 and ended on 11 November 1918.

It was a terrible war in which several nations were involved

The war started in Europe when the industrialised nations of the world became jealous of each other's powers

Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire (the Central Powers) fought against Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania, Japan and the United States (the Allied Powers).
