Pinocchio
is a fictional character, the puppet hero of the children’s story “The Adventures of Pinocchio: The Story of a Puppet” by Carlo Collodi. The story first appeared in serial form in 1881 in the Giornale dei bambini (“Children’s Magazine”) and was published in book form in 1883.
