I recommend taking notes: Multiplying integers are much easier than say adding. Here is the easiest explanation I could find. I there is an even number of negative numbers like -2x-5 the answer would be +10. But what about when the numbers are odd like -6x+10x+3 would the answer also be positive? no The answer would be negative 180
