CHARACTERS OF NARRATIVE
1. Generic structure consists of orientation,
complication, and resolution

about the end of the story, whether
happy or sad ending

1. Kinds of sentences using verb II to show
events happened in the past
2. Kinds of verb II : regular and irregular verb
3. Regular : the changing of the verb is
regularly added by –ed, such us: cried,
happened, ruled, walked, etc.

usually irregular, such us lost, hid, sang,
found, etc

RAPUNSEL
Once, there was a kingdom. The kingdom was ruled by
lovely king and Queen. They had a golden hair baby, named
Rapunsel. Unfortunately mother Gothel stole the baby for her
beauty. She got the beauty from the golden hair. Then she raised
Rapunsel as her own daughter. They lived in a hidden tower far in
the deep jungle.
One day, a thief, Flyn Rider stole a tiara from the kingdom He
run to the jungle and found the tower. He hid in the tower. Then he
knew that there was a beautiful girl up there. They was falling in
love at once. Rapunsel told the sad story about her. Then on, Flyn
Rider knew that she was the lost princess they had been looking
for. He then asked her to come with him to get her lost world.
Unfurtunately mother Gothel knew their plan and she
killed Flyn Rider. Before he died Flyn cut Rapunsel’s hair to lose
the power. That coused mother gothel lost her beauty and power,
she died at last. A miracle happened, when tears came out from her
eyes and dropped on his face, Flyn got a new life. He then took
Rapunsel to meet the king and queen. Finally they live together
happily ever after.
